Prerequisites
- EVOLVE Revit Installers. Go to https://evolvemep.com/downloads
- EVOLVE Electrical 10.0 - https://evolvemep.com/downloads/electrical/preview-release
- EVOLVE Shop Integration 10.0
- EVOLVE Fabrication Data Profiles
- Use the EVOLVE Configuration Exchange to load in the data profiles to the project.
- Note: Global configurations can be used to apply the profiles to all projects.
- Adjust Data Profile fields to align with project parameters.
- Common fields to adjust are:
- Customer Id = the label for each bend (default is eVolve_CustomId)
- Location = specific area within the project (default is eVolve_LBS_Id)
- Run Id = system run name (default is eE_ConduitRun_Id)
- Comments = any additional data needing to be sent (default is Comments)
Revit Workflow
- Audit bends (by area or project) to confirm the following:
- Bends have unique identifiers
- Bend data is valid and not returning errors
- Bend validation (for minimum lengths are met)
- Utilize the provided data profile or parameter sync rule to run a validation script and identify any bend issues.
- Narrow a view down to the area to be uploaded (or utilize a pre-selection.
- For pre-selection, consider creating Element Filters to easily select or isolate bends.
- Open EVOLVE Fabrication.
- Check the options and ensure the proper profiles are selected.
- Consider using the "Publish Date" option, which will timestamp the bends after the upload.
- Select the bend(s) that need to be uploaded.
- Select Send Data
