Roles and Permissions

EVOLVE provides the following roles for Revit users:
- Admin - this user will have full acess and full read/write abilities and the permission to invite members and assign/remove licenses.
- Power User - this user has all functionality as an Admin above, but without the ability to invite members and assign/remove licenses.
- This role is typically assigned to users who lead EVOLVE implementation and establishing company EVOLVE standards.
- This roles has the permissions to upload and assign EVOLVE configurations to other roles.
- Advanced User - this user can recieve EVOLVE configurations but can not upload or assign configurations to other roles.
- User Roles 1 -5 - these are roles that can be renamed and used to align with company org structure.
- Typically these are used for more entry-level roles and or function-specific roles like "detailer" or "modeler". Admins and power users can create specific interfaces for these roles and manage those configurations within EVOLVE Role Manager.
EVOLVE provides the following permission levels for Revit users:
- Read / Write - full access to set and overwrite EVOLVE project configurations
- Read Only - limits user to only using EVOLVE features without the permission to overwrite or change EVOLVE configurations.
EVOLVE Custom Permissions for Revit:
EVOLVE provides the ability to create custom permission that can be used to limit access to specific features for specific users and/or roles. Please contact support@evolvemep.com for more information.
EVOLVE provides the following roles for Shop users:
- Full Access - grants access to all Shop-related features
- Limited Access - Only provides access to Work Requests (typically used for field personnel that do not require access to Work Orders and Tasks data)
