Deprecation Notice: Work Request Feature
To simplify system design and streamline workflows, we are deprecating the Work Request feature.
Previously, work flowed through a multi-step process where a work request was created and submitted before becoming a work order. Moving forward, work orders will be created directly, reducing unnecessary steps and improving efficiency.
What’s changing?
- The Work Request step will be removed.
- Work Orders will now be the starting point of the workflow.
New workflow overview:
- Work orders are created directly.
- Limited access users can submit work orders for approval.
- Full access users can directly task and release work orders.
- Work orders are then completed as usual.
This change simplifies the overall experience, reduces duplication, and provides clearer control based on user permissions. Existing work orders will continue to function normally.
